@FlatcapGK It was towards the end of last season you started to hear coaches & players say things in the post game pressers like, "we're not sure what happened today." You can tell they are baffled and just throwing spaghetti at the wall to see if something sticks.

@dbphys @KamalaHarris NPR story this weekend about how the Aral Sea in Asia is basically gone bc it was diverted for other purposes. A whole sea. Considered to be a man-made climate disaster. The hubris to think something as precious as water can just be changed without consequence.

@nomadpdx If you're ok with McMenni-food, Kalama Lodge has a nice outdoor deck overlooking the water. About 1 hour drive north. Big boats pass by and are fun to watch using a boat app (shows where they're going, what country's flag they're sailing under, how many knots they're traveling).
