Was very happy to receive page proofs for my soon-to-be published review essay on the 2019 books written by @BrentJSteele1 & @sroach82. I very much look forward to seeing this in print soon with @IPTJnl and am grateful for the editorial support of @NEGSaunders & @ProfTonyLang!🙂
@BrentJSteele1 @IPTJnl Thanks Chris for this outstanding and compelling review. It really casts the perfect light on my and Brent's books. Brent, looking forward to reading your superb book.
Excited but also sad to announce the release of https://t.co/UEhcUxUPfW. Three weeks ago, the coeditor, Amy Eckert, a dear friend and wonderful human being, died suddenly. I’ll be dedicating the paperback edition to her memory. Amy, you will be missed!
In today's mail...
"Moral Responsibility in 21st Century Warfare," ed. @sroach82 and Amy Eckert, @SUNYPress And including my modest contribution to the killer robots debate: "The Rights of (Killer) Robots."

"Pointless admin" largely continuing at my university. It's bizarre in the middle of a massive crisis to receive updates on NSS and UKES, demands to attend Taught Programmes Board, presentations on alumni relations, talk of another REF dry run, etc. Fiddling while Rome burns.
An excellent volume edited by @sroach82, going well beyond a standard handbook: an incisive research reader and a great future teaching resource. Really enjoyed it.
If you're doing research on emotions, do consider our new book series by BRILL on "Critical Emotion Research" (monographs & edited volumes). Many thanks to our editorial board: @WilliamMReddy@emma_hutchison Karin Fierke @cvscheve@sroach82 Web: https://t.co/U6nazNXLrx
