“I know someone who had a litter box installed at her school.” No you don’t.
“I know someone who uses abortion as birth control.” No you don’t.
“I know someone whose kid went to school and came home a different gender.” No you don’t.
“I know someone who voted twenty times in the same election.” No you don’t.
“I know an undocumented immigrant getting free housing, healthcare, and groceries.” No you don’t.
Alisa Goods disappeared 10 days ago on a shopping trip while visiting a friend in Las Vegas. Her family in New York has heard nothing from her since — except for mysterious text messages from her phone, asking for cash and Bitcoin, including for gas money, even though Goods does not drive.
“We want her home, we want her back,” her daughter, Kristen Goods, who traveled to Las Vegas to look for her mother, told CBS News’ Nicole Valdes.
If you’re giving grace to the white kids who withheld Nolan Wells’ phone & deleted the history instead of the Black family that has to bury their son, you’re fucking gross.
I, Too
BY LANGSTON HUGHES
I, too, sing America.
I am the darker brother.
They send me to eat in the kitchen
When company comes,
But I laugh,
And eat well,
And grow strong.
Tomorrow,
I’ll be at the table
When company comes.
Nobody’ll dare
Say to me,
“Eat in the kitchen,”
Then.
Besides,
They’ll see how beautiful I am
And be ashamed—
I, too, am America.
