@amybarnes_usa@bethanyjbabcock Actual hate mail? I need to hear this story!
(I was that babysitter too, but never heard about it from other sitters, just that the parents loved me and the kids missed me when I moved on, to college and later when I had my own kids.)
In 1958 most High Schools in the US saw this film.
It was a requirement for civics class.
The had to define precisely what form of government the US had.
By 1980 these films were gone and so were most required civics classes.
This is part of what they learned.
“Currently, there are so many who are concerned about “why the American Church may not be thriving”.
Let me suggest that the American church will continue to struggle, until the entirety of the church is fully empowered.”

“The privilege and power I had went largely unnoticed, until one of the people I love most, my wife, started to show me where she didn’t have it and why. She began to lovingly ask me whether or not the opportunities I was taking, without challenge to the…
👏👏👏 “Church, we can do better than wielding misunderstood or made-up statistics as attacks and accusations.
We can do better than reinforcing Christians’ reputation for indifference toward accurate information.”

You probably know the start of this Olympic story, but do you know how it finished?
This photo is of Eric Moussambani, aka 'Eric the Eel' from Equatorial Guinea, competing in the 100m Freestyle event at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, alone.
Why?

@kevinolearytv Happy 70th birthday, Mr Wonderful! (A few minutes early!) My mom Maureen shares your birthday, is also turning 70, and is a huge fan of you. Any chance you can wish her happy birthday as a fun surprise for her big day? Hope you have a great celebration! 🎉
@ProcterGamble@DawnDish The new “Clean Scent” smells like mutiny to me. Literally what I think every time I use it. 🤢🤢 Sad that I can no longer stand my fav d. soap & laund stain remover. (Wonder if it’s like smelling lilies/amaryllis or eating cilantro?) #gobacktotheoriginal
Took a break from SM only to come back here and find Keanu Reeves was trying to follow me from two different accounts, wow! Persist! 😂 (Funny how he has the same 4.6K-4.9K followings and 85 followers as all the other people I blocked on both of his accounts! 😜)
@AskTarget Please do! So far in 2024, I have visited seven different targets in four different states thousands of miles apart. I don’t live by Target, but I love Target so I visited while I’m traveling. This is a maddening feature of the app for me. I appreciate your help
@Target how am I supposed to know which of these is the correct Targets I am looking for—when I enter the address of the Target I want—but it does not tell me before actually choosing the store, which tTarget I’m choosing? I am traveling. Not familiar with this city.
@AskTarget I looked up the address this time, because I learned my lesson earlier this week in a diff city:you can’t use the Target app to locate a store, you have to know the address and then deduce which one it might be…still took me 4 guesses by pressing the i button to locate this one.
