Respected CM Sir,
Gurugram and large parts of Haryana continue to suffer frequent, prolonged power outages, delayed complaint resolution, and unreliable supply under @1912dhbvn (DHBVN).
Residents are exhausted.
Even @bsesdelhi, despite its own shortcomings, delivers better reliability and consumer response than what we experience here.
It’s time to cancel the current arrangement with DHBVN and bring in a more competent electricity distribution partner for Haryana. Citizens deserve 24×7 quality power, not repeated darkness and excuses.
Please act urgently.

This is not an appropriate answer last payment was made in August 2025 and the bill was disputed.
Several email exchanges before that but no justification was given regarding the wrong bill.
However payment made even after that connection was not restored even after almost 1 year.
Electricity Failures in Gurugram and Incompetence of @1912dhbvn (DHBVN)
Gurugram has repeatedly faced prolonged and unannounced power outages in 2026, including a major multi-hour blackout on 22–23 May triggered by a current transformer failure and fire at the 220 kV Sector-72 substation.
This disrupted supply to multiple sectors (including 15, 38, 44, 46, 52, 56 and the Maruti area), halted Rapid Metro services for around 30–45 minutes, and left residents without power for several hours amid extreme heat and peak demand nearing 2,500 MW.
Similar problems—feeder faults, transformer issues, overloading, and rain-related trippings—have continued, with thousands of complaints logged (e.g., over 6,000 on one rainy day in July) and restoration sometimes taking many hours. Residents frequently report delayed responses despite contacting the 1912 helpline and tagging the official DHBVN handle @1912dhbvn.
While officials cite technical faults, high summer load, heat stress on equipment, and infrastructure strain, the recurring nature of these failures and slow complaint resolution have led many residents to attribute the disruptions to inadequate maintenance, planning, and responsiveness by Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (@1912dhbvn).

📝The Menace of Kickbacks in Healthcare – When Ethical Seekers Turn Unethical
In the noble profession of medicine, where the Hippocratic Oath demands “first, do no harm,” a disturbing trend has emerged: hospital doctors accepting kickbacks (commissions or incentives) from diagnostic laboratories and pharmaceutical companies. What begins as a pursuit of ethical medical practice often erodes under financial pressure, leading to systemic corruption.
📍How It Works
Doctors may:
•Refer patients for unnecessary or excessive laboratory tests, scans, or procedures to partnered labs in exchange for a percentage of the bill.
•Prescribe specific branded medicines (often more expensive) over equally effective generics or alternatives, driven by incentives from pharma firms.
•Influence hospital procurement or patient pathways to favor certain suppliers.
These arrangements are often disguised as “consultancy fees,” “sponsorships,” or “conference support,” but they create clear conflicts of interest.
Impacts
•On Patients: Inflated medical costs, over-treatment, and potential harm from unneeded interventions erode trust. Vulnerable patients bear the financial and health burden.
•On the Profession: It tarnishes the reputation of honest doctors and contributes to rising healthcare expenses.
•On the System: It distorts clinical judgment, undermines evidence-based medicine, and fuels a cycle where profit trumps patient welfare.
📍Ethical and Legal Reality
Medical ethics codes (such as those from medical councils worldwide) strictly prohibit such practices as they violate principles of integrity, beneficence, and non-maleficence. In many countries, including India (under the Indian Medical Council regulations) and others with similar frameworks, accepting kickbacks is illegal and can lead to license suspension, fines, or criminal charges. Yet, the “menace” persists due to weak enforcement, competitive pressures in private hospitals, and the normalization of “referral incentives.”
The transformation of ethical seekers into participants in this unethical ecosystem highlights a broader truth: without strong institutional safeguards, transparency (e.g., mandatory disclosure of ties), and personal integrity, even well-intentioned professionals can succumb to moral compromise. Addressing this requires stricter regulation, whistleblower protection, and a cultural shift back toward patient-centric care.
Patients should stay informed, seek second opinions when referrals seem excessive, and support systems that prioritize ethics over commerce.

The Alleged Deception in India’s Telecom Sector: Promises vs. Reality
India’s telecom industry, dominated by giants like @airtelindia and @reliancejio , operates under the oversight of regulators @TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) and @DoT_India (Department of Telecommunications). While these players have driven massive connectivity growth and affordable data, persistent consumer complaints paint a picture of systemic issues that many label as deceptive practices.
📍Misleading Marketing and Plans
Airtel and Jio frequently tout “unlimited” data, high-speed guarantees, and superior coverage in advertisements. In reality, users often encounter:
•Throttling after fair usage limits.
•Inconsistent 4G/5G speeds, especially in non-metro areas.
•Hidden charges or auto-renewals that drain balances unexpectedly.
📍Mutual accusations between the two rivals highlight the problem.
@airtelindia has complained to @TRAI about @reliancejio “false claims” and predatory pricing, while similar disputes arise over bundling and tariffs.
📍Regulatory Oversight Gaps
@TRAI and @DoT_India are tasked with protecting consumers, yet critics argue enforcement lags. Penalties have been imposed on telcos (including Airtel and Jio) for issues like fake SMS spam, but spam calls and fraudulent messages continue.
@TRAI actively blocks fraud numbers and warns against impersonation scams in its name, yet the volume of complaints via systems like TCCMS remains high.
Consumers frequently report poor grievance redressal, with long wait times and unresolved network or billing issues despite “premium” plans.
📍Broader Impacts
These issues erode trust. Indians pay for promised connectivity but often face:
•Dropped calls
•Poor rural coverage
•Aggressive upselling
While competition has lowered prices dramatically, the gap between marketed ideals and ground reality fuels perceptions of deception — where profit motives sometimes overshadow service quality and transparent regulation.
📍The Way Forward
Stronger enforcement by @TRAI and @DoT_India , coupled with transparent advertising from operators, is essential. Consumers should document issues, use official complaint portals, and compare plans critically rather than relying on ads.
The telecom revolution in India is real, but so is the frustration. True progress requires closing the gap between hype and delivery.
