Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! || 1 Cor. 9:16b

i think that my heart language is an 8+ page, turabian style paper on some sort of biblical or cultural topic, and no, i am not kidding

[stephanie @ss8x__]

it's the official last night of the semester so of course it was only appropriate that i spent it staying up until the wee hours of the morning to write a paper

it's not nearly as much fun as staying in the library until it closes during finals week, but it'll do

[stephanie @ss8x__]

also i am aware that this time would have come pandemic or not & i think i would have reacted the same either way lol

[stephanie @ss8x__]

do you ever cry when you think about how you looked forward to college for your whole life & now it’s just over & we’re never going to get to experience anything like college ever again in our lives & we’ll never get those 4 years back?

bc i do a lot

do you ever have a plan for the day and suddenly it's 6pm and you've achieved literally nothing

[stephanie @ss8x__]

this !!!! the people working for usps risk themselves everyday & not only are they very seldomly being recognized for it, their funding is being threatened daily. pls pls support your local usps - buy some stamps & send your pals some snail mail!!!

[Ryan Reynolds @VancityReynolds]

Hey, @USPS and everyone working there, thanks for all you do.

[stephanie @ss8x__]

@kayleighnick honestly, I considered it for a bit, but I have too many of my own papers to write this week (they are, unfortunately, APA format & I need the extra time to adjust & also to mourn)

After shouts of Hosanna, Jesus enters the temple & clears out those who have used religion to exploit people.

He then welcomes the blind & lame in the temple & heals them.

Holy Week reminds us that Jesus has a furious & passionate love for those the world has little regard for.

i don’t like standing up for myself because i have an iron deficiency

[stephanie @ss8x__]

I went to a local park today to walk & the parking lots were full of people hanging out like normal & the traffic there & back was like a normal Friday afternoon. Just because you are outside doesn’t mean you can ignore social distancing. Stay home, Triad area, stay home.

[stephanie @ss8x__]

i don’t know my neighbors bc they’re renting the (small) house & moved in while i was at school

but they have, on average, 8 cars in the driveway (+ 1 of those kid trucks) - 4 of them being large black SUVs

i just want to know how they all fit & also social distancing???

Stay at home. That's it, that's the tweet.

Thinking about Paul today.
He spent much of his ministry “quarantined” in prison or house arrest and yet his correspondence with sisters and brothers in Christ yielded nearly half the New Testament. The gospel is never bound.
