@AlPalVipond @vuejs 1. Why not a SFC for Menu and for MenuItem?
2. Why would you want markup in two places (template and script)?
3. In my opinion markup belongs into template & script belongs into script. This mixture makes only sense for React developers that don't want to adapt do smth different
