I was directing CCRISP course in the RCSEng last week..
Fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate for a period.. when all out we met the President Tim Lane. He kindly agreed to have a snap with the faculty and the participants around the statue of John Hunter
So it worked out!!

Had 24 hrs of call 5 Aortic cases. 1 scute leg..
2 thoracic Aneurysms. One does in a/e.
3 AAS. 2 rAAA.. one hanging in after ope.. one EVAR died post op due to cardiac event.. depressing!!

@RCSnews We lost one our surgical colleagues due to depression after retirement.. sounds like more could have been tried for that person.. heartbreaking to learn, albeit in retrospect, how helpless he was…
We need to spread the news of what help is available ..

@UszVascular Seems to be the trend for the festive time...I had a 8.5cm aaa plus Lt iliac rupture on Xmas day.. Did open .. During that case another rupture came which was transferred out!!!
