@CoachOpeele Semenyo moved clubs last season but his productivity wasn’t affected in anyway. Instead of questioning his performance, maybe you should be asking whether he is being platformed well in the national team.
@RayAnkrah0 Even Otto Addo had people who wanted him to continue. However, just like how we now wished we had sacked Otto much earlier, the day Jordan finally moves on from the Blackstars, we would realize how we missed the opportunity to move on from him much earlier.
BBC Sport has a live World Cup knockout bracket updating after every match.
Some clever soul has made it so it automatically works out the 495 possible combinations of third-placed teams.
Right now?
Germany v Brazil
England v Portugal
Scotland v Japan

As a nation, we have never lacked talent. The problem is in the name of experience, we keep playing the old guards even when they are underperforming instead of giving talented young players the chance. The other problem is that no matter how talented players are, if they are not well connected, they won’t be given the opportunity to play.
Ghana has never and would never lack football talent. I hope Caleb Yirenkyi’s story would inspire us to take a chance with our talented young players.
No one is disrespecting him. We actually appreciate him for that. Besides there is a huge difference between playing qualifiers versus playing at the World Cup. That you played well in the qualifiers doesn’t mean you’re going to play better at the World Cup. At club-level football, ever heard of players who perform so well during preseason and become abysmal once the season starts? Similar logic.
Sentimentalism would be our undoing at this World Cup. Jordan has paid his dues to the black stars but we need to admit that he doesn’t have the legs anymore. He is not necessarily a bad player but there are players on the bench who could make our dynamics upfront even better. At 34 years, he is the oldest player we have ever played at the World Cup and he should be starting from the bench. Give the young lads the opportunity to show what they’ve got.
@Akwasi_Ayala I would play Augustine Boakye instead of one of Sibo or Elisha Owusu.
I would start Jordan from the bench and play BTA instead. BTA and Semenyo seem to have better chemistry than Jordan and Semenyo.
I won’t change anything else
@_owurakuampofo We need to return to either a 3 or 4-man midfield against England and play our fast players in attack. Jordan should start from the bench.
