Just when I’ve had enough and I’ve convinced myself that I’d be better off by deleting X…

In May 2016, 15-year-old Karinya “Yaya” Chen was in hospice care in Austin, Texas after years of fighting cancer. She had tickets to see Florence The Machine, but by the night of the concert, she was simply too sick to go.

So the people at Hospice Austin reached out to the band.

And Florence Welch came to her.

Florence and guitarist Rob Ackroyd walked into Karinya’s room and gave her the concert she couldn't make it to. They sang “Shake It Out” and “Dog Days Are Over,” with Karinya singing and harmonizing right alongside them.

A few months later, Karinya lost her battle with cancer at just 15 years old.

But for one afternoon, none of that seemed to matter.

There was just a young girl, one of her favorite singers, a guitar, a room full of people who loved her... and music.

Sometimes the smallest act of kindness can become one of the biggest moments of someone's life.

This is what being human is supposed to look like.🙏

I just really hope the long term goal of everything doesn’t get lost in tonight’s game.

-Pope was the right hire
-He put this roster together in a month with zero returning players
-Season was devastated by injuries
-The Sweet Sixteen was a success given the circumstances

The throw.

The catch.

The run.

The ref.

The radio call.

This play was everything.

Rewatched this play and what a spectacular highlight for the ref
—realizes Jefferson is coming his way, stops
—goes 0-60, outsprints 49er defenders to stay out of their way
—backpedals, stops on the goal line to make a potential call on a goal line tackle

Dolores O'Riordan would have turned 53 today. Happy heavenly birthday.

Here is Dolores with The Cranberries performing "Zombie" in Paris, 1999.

Her voice was truly unique and her powerful presence on stage was unforgettable.

Kentucky has had 27 opportunities to tie or win the game since 2020.

They've made a shot one time.

That is kind of amazing.
