Teachers go unpaid for +-3 months in the ANC led South Africa and it's treated as norm, you're looked at funny if you complain. Is there a policy permitting this? Teachers are drowning in debt, depression and shame because of this. #PayNewTeachers
You seek employment for months. send emails, go door to door. And then you finally get appointed, start working, come month end you don't get paid, and then another month, and then 2 more months... This is the reality of most teacher across South Africa. @DBE_SA#PayNewTeachers
Thinking all your troubles are over kanti you're just in for months of stress and no peace, borrowing money not even knowing when you're going to pay it back, jumping at every sms thinking it's a bank notification... #PayNewTeachers
Why is the @DBE_SA Always delaying when it comes to payment of new teachers, What should they eat these teachers!? what is surprising is that teachers have adopted to this as a Norm and it's Wrong
Why is it difficult to pay New teachers!? 😢
#PayNewTeachers
Some employees in the @DBE_SA offices have made it a norm to pay teachers after 3/4 months of employment, is there a policy on this?
