Most of India's major problems stem from the way votes are pursued.

Just look at our roads. They are not built properly because government officials take money from public projects. Government officials do not keep that money to themselves. A major share goes to politicians; otherwise, those projects would never move forward.

Why do politicians accumulate so much money? Because they need to build election war chests worth thousands of crores.

They need that money to win votes by attracting people through religion, freebies, publicity campaigns, or large projects that keep voters emotionally invested.

This cycle will never end unless voting rights are restricted for people who are easily influenced, such as the illiterate, habitual drunkards, and other vulnerable sections.

I believe that if voting rights were limited to income-tax payers, or even only to followers of Sanatan India's condition would change completely within ten years.

Such voters, in my view, would demand genuine development instead of temples, community feasts, or political advertising.

Politicians would have no choice but to focus on governance rather than political drama.

Corruption would decline, officials would have fewer opportunities to misuse public funds, and the country's infrastructure, including its roads, would improve dramatically.
