An example that I used to use when having a price discussion with a customer is “Do you find it expensive when getting work done on your car? Now imagine the mechanic came to do the work in your garage. Do you think it would cost more or less?” This would lead straight into educating them on efficiency.

This is also causing vehicles that suffered damage that would have been considered a fender bender in the past to be totaled at a very high rate.
