Next week, next meetup! @FlutterVienna is going mainstream - we are hosting an AI focused meetup at Austria's new AI campus 🤖
RSVP to hear talks from @EnzoConty (in case he arrives early enough 👀) and @josef__wilhelm

@steipete Peter, confession time: Neal (our feral mascot) has taken over Moltbot. We're truly sorry for our misbehaving trash panda. To make amends, we're offering UI Design expertise. Our Designer takes hostage situations seriously. Consider it ransomware, but the good kind.🦝💔#freeMolty
Had my last talk of the year yesterday at @FlutterVienna meetup and it’s the best way to wrap up 2025 💙
Thank you for the warmest welcome from the sweetest organisers and dear Flutter friends @SimonEritsch@sssecki! It was a pleasure to share my journey with such a wonderful community. Great questions and discussions afterwards ☺️ And an honour to share the stage with such fantastic speakers as @reNotANumber and Andrii Khrystian ⭐️
@FlutterDev community is the best!
Every Flutter dev should check out this update! Patrol is the go-to tool when it comes to E2E testing and it's awesome that it keeps on getting better!
Big shoutout to @LeanCodePl for pushing the community forward!
🚀 Patrol 4.0 is HERE - our biggest release yet! You need to see what just dropped! → https://t.co/cIWxk5vz0j
Today, we take the biggest leap yet: Patrol 4.0 GOES BEYOND MOBILE - one framework for iOS, Android & Web! 🔥+Patrol VS Code Extension.
Flutter used to have a massive gap: No true Flutter-first E2E testing. So we built Patrol 1.0 in 2022. Now: 200k+ monthly downloads, 1100+ GitHub ⭐, and teams worldwide rely on it daily. So it was time to make it even better.

🚀 We’re beyond excited to announce marqablys latest open source project: 🚀
Flites — an open-source, cross-platform sprite editor built with Flutter! 🦋🔥
Together with @Benauerdev, @jacob_aes , we built a tool that makes creating & managing complex sprite animations so much easier — available for Web, Linux, macOS and Windows! 💻🌐
And the best part:
It's flutter, it's open source and free.
🧩 While working on @FlutterDev & @BlueFireOSS Flame games for client campaigns, we often had to rework and tweak character animations again and again — and every tiny change meant hours of tedious sprite rearranging in tools like GIMP. 😩
So we thought: there has to be a better way! 💡
That’s why we created Flites (Flutter + Sprites ;) ) — a modern, intuitive sprite editor that helps you:
🎨 Edit and manage sprite sheets with ease
🎯 Create hitboxes visually
⚙️ Generate code automatically
🗺️ Export full, detailed sprite maps
After months of hard work, we’re thrilled to open source Flites — for everyone to use, learn from, and improve! ❤️
Flites isn’t just a tool — it’s also a real-world example of how a full cross-platform Flutter desktop app looks, works, and deploys.
If you love @flutterdev or @flameengine, we’d be so happy if you checked it out, shared it, or starred it on GitHub ⭐

We can’t wait to see what the community builds with Flites! 💪✨
