“I want to live long enough to see a mass driver on the Moon, because that is going to be incredibly epic”
This is not just about building infrastructure on the Moon. It is about building one of the most ambitious futures humanity has ever imagined
A lunar mass driver will unlock an entirely new space economy, move enormous amounts of cargo beyond the Moon and open the solar system to human expansion
A future far more exciting than anything humanity has experienced before

“I’m not really a businessman, I’m an engineer. I like engineering and design. I don’t focus on return on investment, I create new technologies. Technology is the closest thing to magic in the world.”
—Elon Musk
An incredible scene last night as the waxing crescent moon slipped behind the vehicle that will one day help return us to its surface. A vivid reminder of exactly what is at stake.
Next Starship flight attempt is as soon as Monday.
BREAKING: Elon Musk has just confirmed that some of the engines did not start, triggering an automatic launch abort. SpaceX is now offloading propellant, with the next attempt hopefully in a few days.
Taking humanity back to the Moon and eventually to Mars was never going to be easy. Every test, delay, and lesson brings us one step closer.
Success is not guaranteed, but excitement always is. Godspeed SpaceX. 🚀
