🧵 APFC/EO-AO scheme questions that quietly kill marks.
1/11
Went back through APFC & EO/AO previous papers.
Schemes section is not easy marks. It's one-word traps. Here are the ones that actually got asked 👇

Repeated Topics of Maths & Quant in APFC Exam 🧵
1/8
If you're preparing for UPSC EPFO APFC, don't grind through a full quant book.
Maths carries 15–20 questions out of 120, and the paper keeps returning to the same handful of ideas.
Here's what actually repeats 👇

If you’re preparing for UPSC EPFO APFC, don’t study History randomly.
The APFC paper has repeatedly returned to a small set of recurring themes.
Here are the History areas you should revise again and again 👇

@vualzong The tangkhul population of ukhrul especially will have a hard time providing the required documents if NRC really comes. But yes, keep supporting for it! 😉
Something about the Nepal disaster doesn't add up.
They made you believe it was just nature collapsing.
Until you dig deeper.
And discover something disturbing inside those mountains.
I didn't write about Nepal immediately.
I watched.
I read.
I waited.
Everyone showed the flood.
Very few asked what came before it.
This story didn't begin on Aug 26.
Boulders rolled like toys.
Bridges disappeared.
Buildings folded.
The river rose 9 metres in 30 minutes.
Destruction travelled 100+ kilometres.
The collapse generated seismic energy.
Equivalent to 5.2 earthquake.
This wasn't an ordinary flood.
Water.
Ice.
Rock.
Mud.
Debris.
Pieces of a mountain became a geological monster.
As if someone invoked it.
Now comes the uncomfortable layer.
For roughly 15 years,
Nepal and China have been butchering the Himalayas.
Slopes cut.
Roads carved.
Mountains blasted.
Rivers diverted.
Hydropower multiplied.
Kilometres of tunnels pierced through rock.
Then came dry ports.
Transmission systems.
And plans for railways.
The scientists already knew the terrain.
They warned everyone repeatedly.
Active fractures.
Extreme rock stress.
High seismicity.
Slope instability.
Water erosion.
China and Nepal knew what kind of mountains they were entering.
Yet the machines continued.
Drilling.
Cutting.
Blasting.
Excavating.
Year after year.
Did development trigger the collapse?
With China's narrative warfare,
Will we ever get that answer?
Now watch where the narrative moves.
"Carbon caused it."
And everything else slowly disappears.
Blasting.
Groundwater disturbance.
Slope cutting.
Tunnelling.
River engineering.
Cumulative construction.
15 years of massacring a fragile landscape.
Then another UN vocabulary arrives.
Climate liability.
Loss and Damage.
Carbon accounting.
Carbon markets.
Emission restrictions.
Who emitted?
Who pays?
Who gets to emit?
Eventually: who decides how much carbon your life may produce?
Travel.
Electricity.
Food.
Fuel.
Housing.
Consumption.
Everything gets a carbon number.
And this is where the story becomes dangerous.
The villager who lost his home may be lectured about his carbon footprint.
The worker who lost his family may be asked to change his lifestyle.
Ordinary citizens will pay through restrictions, taxes and higher costs.
But who questions governments?
Planners?
Financiers?
Let's ask the question nobody seems comfortable asking:
Did climate change create this catastrophe?
Or are we watching the consequences of disturbing something we never fully understood?
Perhaps that is why this case will never close.
The MHA must understand the gravity of the situation: frequent patrolling and loitering by the Armed Forces in and around the designated camps of groups under the Suspension of Operation (SoO) Agreement must be stopped forthwith. Such actions are perceived as provocative and are directed against disciplined cadres who are strictly adhering to the SoO Agreement with the Government of India.
Continued strolling and unwarranted presence in the vicinity of SoO camps without any protocol will not yield any solution; rather, it will only provoke disciplined cadres. Despite being treated as uninvited guests, the SoO cadres have maintained utmost restraint and discipline.
It is strongly suggested that attention be directed towards the unauthorized camps illegally operated by the Tangkhul-led NSCN-IM across various districts of Manipur. These camps are being run by secessionist narco-terrorist elements in coordination with groups operating from Myanmar.
LIST OF NSCN-IM CAMPS OPERATING INSIDE MANIPUR:
The Government of India has clarified that the ceasefire agreement with the NSCN-IM is applicable only to the State of Nagaland following the Great June Uprising of 2001. However, the NSCN-IM continues to operate several camps within the territory of Manipur. The Government of Manipur itself has communicated to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) that these camps are "unauthorised."
The details are as under:
1. Khangkhui-Shirui Designated Camp, Ukhrul District:
The main designated camp claimed by the NSCN-IM in Manipur, approved by the Chairman of the Ceasefire Monitoring Group, Lt. Gen. (Retd.) R.V. Kulkarni, vide letter dated 6th February 2007, located in the Khangkhui-Shirui forest range.
2. Huthrong Brigade Camp, Senapati District
Located near Oklong, this camp was declared unauthorised by the Chief Secretary of Manipur, Shri J. Suresh Babu, in a communication to the MHA. Civil society organisations were openly invited to distribute relief materials inside this camp in May 2020.
3. Ashiho Chaomai Battalion Camp, Chandel District
Also termed unauthorised by the Government of Manipur. Relief materials were distributed at this location on 13th May 2020.
4. NP Battalion Camp at Piulong (Buning), Tamenglong District
A battalion-level camp operating near Tamei Sub-Division in the Naga-dominated area of Tamenglong.
5. AC Battalion Camp, Chandel District
A battalion-level camp located near the Myanmar border.
6. Kishumung Battalion Camp, Ukhrul District
Located in Ukhrul District, close to the Somra Tract.
7. Chatric Camp, Kamjong District
A camp previously noted and subsequently vacated through mutual understanding with the Assam Rifles.
8. Grihang Camp, Ukhrul District
A formerly operational camp, since vacated.
9. Sihai Khunou / Khamasom Camp, Ukhrul District (Near Myanmar Border)
The most recent unauthorised camp. In April 2019, approximately 70 NSCN-IM cadres from the Southern Command established a camp 5 km from Sihai village and 2 km from the India-Myanmar border. The Assam Rifles surrounded the camp and warned the cadres for violation of ground rules. Following the intervention of the Ceasefire Monitoring Group, the cadres vacated the camp on the intervening night of 30th April and 1st May 2019 and were directed to shift to the Khangkhui-Shirui camp.
Observation of the Government of Manipur:
The Government of Manipur has stated that, "The camps existed in the state despite the fact that the ceasefire agreement does not extend to the state of Manipur,"_ and has requested the MHA to direct the Army and Assam Rifles to control the activities of the NSCN-IM and to shift these unauthorised camps from Manipur to Nagaland.
Security Implications:
All aforementioned camps are located in Ukhrul, Kamjong,Senapati, Tamenglong and Chandel districts, all bordering the Somra Tract in Myanmar, which serves as a conduit for weapons, cadres and illegal immigrants.

Leaders of the Naga community in Manipur cannot point fingers at the Kuki-Zo while ignoring the blood on their own hands. More than 20 Kuki-Zo people have been killed by Naga armed groups.
If Naga leaders genuinely want peace and justice, accountability must apply to all parties. There can be no selective justice. Lasting peace can only come through accountability, coupled with a meaningful dialogue between the conflicting parties.

The bomb attack & attempt on the life of Cong MLA K. Meghachandra came just hours after he slammed the Naga Dy CM in the Assembly today, where he exposed Dikho's intention to petition @PMOIndia seeking the removal of the Kuki Dy CM as a self-aggrandizing political maneuver rather than a sincere & genuine initiative aimed at restoring peace in Manipur.

The Phone That Kept Recording After Everyone Was Gone 💔
Among the devastation left behind by the Nepal flash floods, a phone was found—mud-covered, damaged, but still carrying a recording.
What it captured is almost impossible to watch.
In the final moments, people can be seen running desperately to escape the approaching wall of floodwater. They were running for their lives, trying to reach safety.
But they could not outrun the flood.
One by one, they disappeared from view.
The people in that video were gone—but the phone remained.
And somehow, it kept recording.
Long after the screams had fallen silent and the people had disappeared, the camera continued to capture the aftermath.
A small piece of technology survived, carrying the last moments of lives that were suddenly and brutally taken away.
Imagine finding that phone.
Imagine pressing play and seeing the final moments of people you may have known and loved.
They ran. They fought to survive. They hoped they would make it. But the flood was faster.
The phone survived.
They did not. 💔
May their souls rest in peace, and may their families find strength to bear a loss that words can never describe. 🙏
What an absolute cracker of a report...
Just facts, no drama or exaggeration, and goosebumps at the end! 🙌
Another fact- No Indian media person can ever ever match this...
