@Mixer1416@cfuchstv@cfuchstv I found it interesting that multiple remakes started with Gatsby’s fate despite them getting horrible feedback from viewers! I agree with you though, the 2013 version remains superior for its production value & design. Nice thread, Ol' Sport!😉 #399Sum21
@calebjcoomer@cfuchstv Yet another interesting topic from FAVS399! U did a really nice job bringing ur voice into this thread - it made me LOL - & I liked your point about how some films aren’t meant 2 tell stories, they r meant 2 poke at the viewer’s emotional journey. nicely done! #399Sum21
@spideraxes @cfuchstv Cool topic, Cole! This reminded me of Tim Burton films & his style of stop-motion animation. It takes decades to craft those films & it’s no wonder studios reserve the ⏲️ & 💸 to directors who will consistently pull in viewers. RIP all the stories that we will never see
@DaijaSykes@cfuchstv@cfuchstv I loved your point about how the show utilizes celebrities & non-celebrities, showing viewers that these r human experiences no one is exempt from. Viewers look for honesty & translucency around these topics. I am adding this to my watchlist! Great job, Daija! #399Sum21
@Names2Common@cfuchstv Nice job connecting RuthFalls 2 current times! This show does a gr8 job challenging who gets 2 tell history so it’s awesome that u broke that down & are challenging people to rethink it, listening 2 all perspectives before coming 2 any conclusions. Nice work! #399Sum21
So whether you want to have some of your weird questions answered or just find a fun, new show, Sex Education will not disappoint. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will learn about anal douching. What more could a gal ask for? 😉
@cfuchstv#399sum21 While so many TV shows nowadays show high schoolers with incredibly unrealistic sex lives (*cough cough* Riverdale), Netflix’s Sex Education shows the silly, the serious, and the just plain awkward moments of the 🐦 & 🐝… but what’s its approach?
While some people (like me✋) learned about sex/relationships through pop culture, Sex Education provides a diverse range of topics that “never feel clumsily signposted, and instead unfold in complex, non-judgmental ways” (Polly Smythe, The Guardian)

@cfuchstv Vorfeld brings up 2 interesting points: 1) that by making Otis' mom a sex therapist, topics come up easier & aren't forced (as they are in other tv shows). 2) it doesn't show fantasized sex - it shows the awkward imperfections of everyone's experiences #399Sum21
@cfuchstv This article is the cherry on top 🍒of my research bc it's from a PEER! A college student! Not an editor, reviewer, or academic... which just goes to show the honest, messy, and educational impact this show has on young people #399Sum21
