For the past 2 years, I've been working on&off on a side project called FinancialAha @financialaha. It started as a SaaS app for financial planning / projections, then pivoted to a collection of premium spreadsheet templates that are privacy-focused and fully owned by users.

Then, while updating my personal financial spreadsheets, I realised that many people might just need a solid spreadsheet - they simply lack the knowledge to build one themselves, or they just hate Math.

I've been using a spreadsheet to track my finances for years, naturally improving it each time I reviewed data. Over time, I hit some Google Sheets limitations and decided to build an app to solve my problem. However, I ran into a bigger issues: privacy concerns and monthly fees.
