Because they pay double of what they should. They also pay for Modi’s blue-bodied children. GCs pay more taxes, double the fees so that Modi’s stupidity gets funded.
Modi has fucked up the entire education system. He is the word PM in terms of educational reforms.

Has the Government so completely abandoned its duty of accountability that it now relies on detention to silence those who demand it?
At Jantar Mantar, young citizens exercising their democratic right to peaceful protest, even while waving the national Tricolour, find themselves in judicial custody. At India Gate, the grieving parents of Ankita Bhandari, seeking justice for their daughter, are detained at 4 in the morning, alongside Congress workers who stood in solidarity with them. A protester is not an offender. A grieving parent is not a threat. The distinction should not need explaining to those entrusted with governing.
What threat to public order do peaceful protesters pose? What purpose is served by subjecting bereaved parents, already enduring an unimaginable tragedy, to such indignity?
The Constitution does not guarantee citizens the right to protest only when their questions are convenient to those in power. That right is not conditional upon the Government’s approval. Nor can it be restricted merely because its exercise causes discomfort.
The power to detain is not the power to silence. The demand for justice does not end at the gates of a police station. Nor does the courage to speak out disappear at the threat of arrest. The people of this country have never needed permission to stand up for what is right. And they must never be made to believe otherwise.
@INCIndia
Waving the Tricolour at Jantar Mantar in a peaceful protest is not a crime. Jailing youth for it is an act of cowardice.
Students. Youth. Journalists. The INDIA bloc. Different banners, one cause. All protests are one: citizens demanding their constitutional rights.
Jantar Mantar belongs to the people of India. We will reclaim it.
It seems one line makes a better headline than an entire argument. @NDTV has shared several excerpts from my interview, but that hardly justifies cherry-picking this particular remark while stripping away the context in which it was made. I shall leave viewers to judge the merits of that editorial choice. Meanwhile, here are a few more of the points I made in the same conversation.
-The police’s “ruthless” repression on Saturday and the “badly manhandled” protesters on Sunday.
-The Congress’s role in initiating this phase of protests in Delhi from 6 October.
-The extraordinary turnout of “easily lakhs” of supporters, despite the police conduct over the weekend.
-The protest as “a good day for the defence of democracy”.
- @RahulGandhi’s election petition and the wider legal challenge to the ECI’s handling of the SIR.
When an interview is reduced to a convenient soundbite, the headline may be sharp, but the journalism falls short.
I returned to the national capital after 2 am and have rarely seen anything like what Delhi is witnessing now, with checkpoints every few hundred metres, concrete barriers and spike strips laid across our roads, a war-like deployment of 22,000 police and paramilitary across the city, 250 trains cancelled and 45 metro stations closed, and reports of young people being detained from their own homes and the streets in and around Delhi -- all to prevent citizens from peacefully raising questions about the integrity of our elections. Most regressive (as well as repressive) is the suspension of the internet in the heart of the national capital.
Freedom of movement stands completely shackled. Jantar Mantar was designated precisely so that citizens could voice dissent in the centre of Delhi, and today even the roads leading to it have been declared out of bounds. One is entitled to ask where this extraordinary manpower and urgency disappear when women in our capital need protection.
Those detained will hvre to be released .And if the protesters simply return on Monday, will the authorities lock down the national capital all over again? Our GenZ deserves better than an undeclared Emer-GenZ.
A government confident in the fairness of its elections would welcome questions about them, whereas one that turns its capital into a fortress to avoid them only deepens the very suspicions it seeks to suppress. The government should provide answers, not lathis; expression, not repression.
Barricades will do nothing to restore faith in the Election Commission, and the sooner it answers the public's questions, the sooner calm will be restored. The strength of a democracy is measured by how it treats those who question its working, and by that measure, what we have seen today is utterly shameful and unconscionable.

We are not going to stop protesting till Gyanesh Kumar resigns.
This is a fight to protect the most sacred thing in this country.
There is nothing that Narendra Modi and Amit Shah can do that will stop us.
The FIR against @RahulGandhi ji and @PriyankaGandhi ji over their participation in a peaceful democratic protest yesterday is unfortunate and condemnable.
Instead of intimidating opposition leaders through FIRs and police action, the BJP government should address the serious concerns being raised about the electoral process.
We need answers and accountability to be fixed. The BJP cannot intimidate our leaders or silence dissent. It is our responsibility to protect the integrity of the process through which we elect our government.

So the article's factual assumption is that child sex abuse is more likely or likelier in poor, non-general castes and religious minorities? I genuinely hope that's not the assumption.
