@LightningThiefW@tim_cush@KevinAdams26 3 runs and a chip shot field goal leaves the bucs with 0 timeouts and about 20 seconds to tie the game vs a minute and a timeout in their pocket. They were better off kneeling 3 times actually.
@LeVeonBell Idc about scoring a touchdown there tbh, you run the ball 3 times and worst case scenario is you have a 3 pt lead with 40 seconds left and they have no timeouts…..
@dgez5252@T34m0nmyb4ckdoe@CharlieBatch16 Yes it is, but if you want to retain any talent on your team you have to do it, and deal with the consequences. Respectfully, The way the steelers have been doing it hasn’t landed them a playoff victory in almost a decade, so maybe its time to change it up.
@buccoman@rollawaythedew7@Steigerworld2 I have heard he is a great young man, and heck of a player! At the end of the day the NFL is a business and i cant blame him for wanting a fair contract. I also wont ignore how bad the steelers are at conducting business. Its a bummer because its a loss for both parties imo.
@NoMrBody1@jasonskstockman@JRown32 They are gonna pay Pickens and Tag JPJ. The porters really look dumb as fuck, and they are pretending they won on this one, but they wont admit this situation is going to be worse as far as getting a multi year guaranteed contract goes. Because they wont.
@JRown32@AlienOnEarth500 Yeah, not to mention JPJ is playing on the same contract that he would have played on in Pittsburgh. The only one keeping the Porters from football is themselves. They look dumb as fuck now. Also, i wanted JPJ paid.
@buccoman@rollawaythedew7@Steigerworld2 Im in the pay him crowd, but what he did was stupid and it didn’t even achieve his goal because he is still playing on the same contract he would have in pittsburgh. he can also be franchise tagged like Pickens was.thisterrible for the porter’s as well they just wont admit it.
@TheShelt27@CharlieBatch16 The NFL is a nasty Business. Not saying what JPJ did was right, but don’t forget what NFL owners/gms do to get leverage over their players and pay them as little as possible.
@T34m0nmyb4ckdoe@CharlieBatch16 Yeah, id say steeler nation is taking it a bit too personal. Id say you are pretty blind to also ignore the way the steelers do business is horrible. They are really cheap and their personal rules get in the way of bettering their franchise or giving themselves leverage.
@1PureBlood4@CharlieBatch16 If he plays and he plays pretty well he probably doesn’t get traded tbh. Of course he is playing for the same contract he would have been playing on in Pittsburgh, so it was kind of a failed attempt on his part
@CharlieBatch16 Omar fumbled the bag with JPJ and now that his dad is cheering his son’s new team everybody upset. I dont like the fake injury stuff but whatever, this is the NFL and its a harsh business
@Hoobito97 I want them to tank, but they are obviously not going to do that, so i would definitely say just trade all our bad player for other team’s good players and then find the fountain of youth for Aaron Rodgers. Completely doable imo.
