I love all my trans homies. I like to believe that an entire company and every wrestler in the locker room at Beyond Wrestling isn’t defined by an incident that happened in Aug 2024 — when that deplorable and disgusting transphobic comment was made I was horrified and reached out to Ry immediately and so did bear. We’ve talked so many times about this, and apologized profusely on the behalf of someone else’s dumb comment, and sent our love and more. When that (now former) beyond wrestling employee made a transphobic comment - we felt and feel horrible. they no long work at beyond as of Sept 2024.

Speaking for myself, I am constantly trying to push for change & have conversations off this app, would it be easy to say no to the booking and wash my hands of the place? Sure. But to me that is cowardly. All the time, and in person with other workers at beyond we discuss ways to make sure everyone knows those types of comments are never okay, but especially not when I’m around. So far, no incidents like that have happened since I’ve been back at beyond wrestling. We (the wrestlers & beyond staff) talk about how we can make it a safe space as best we can, we welcome everyone and sometimes a bad person slides through the crack. that person does not define beyond wrestling. Maybe people will start to see that every wrestler at beyond and wrestling open does NOT align with one incident at beyond. Not saying we should stop talking about or forget the harm that was done when that happened, but maybe people can stop thinking we are all so bad for wrestling somewhere a person that got fired two years ago said something really horrible.

I hope people can see that just because I don’t post every REAL conversation I have - doesn’t mean I’m not working hard to make every lock room or space I take up - somewhere other ppl can feel safe.

@ncryptdcryptd I could speculate, and I’m sure I’ll miss some reasons but people are sometimes cheap, wait too long and need last minute help, or just aren’t willing to talk about cost. Could be plenty more reasons but those would be the top reasons in my estimation.
