Today, I finally grabbed a Rare @PatoshiPunks I’ve been wanting for a while and picked up some floor items aswell.

We can definitely build the stack back up if we keep at it!

Next step is to pf one of these, but you know which one already 😏.

@Memeticx That’s wild

Just lost a lot of respect for @MagicEden @MEonBTC

Comms matter

Creating a sliding scale called “staking power” that unlocks to nothing is quasi dishonest behavior

[stack.sats @stackdotsats]

WTF

Remember when we got that $ME airdrop and we all staked it to earn rewards?

So TIL that “staking power” doesn’t give any rewards for staking—you have to trade on their app as well?

Did I lock up $ME for nothing?

Can anyone confirm?

[stack.sats @stackdotsats]

@Memeticx So when your wallet said you had x amount “staking power” it was completely meaningless? You actually get nothing?

Ordinals is famous for being “anti royalties” ask the typical degen and they will shout down anyone who suggests them

Yet, some say lack of royalties forces a “race to the bottom” of creators launching shiny new things because there is no other way to earn

What’s your take?

For pure Rarity, there are few ordinals grails which can hold a candle to Patoshi Punks on Uncommon Sats. In fact, there are only 7 Patoshi Punks inscribed on Uncommon Sats, making this subset of PP arguably the rarest and most valuable Patoshi Punks in existence. 💎

For the uninitiated, Uncommon Sats are units of Bitcoin (Satoshis), which according to Ordinals Theory, are the first Satoshis in a Bitcoin Block.

This makes the 7 Patoshi Punks inscribed on Uncommon Sats officially part of the Ordinals Protocol "Rodarmor rarity" index, granting them the honor of having "Charms" attached to them on https://t.co/NfBKd9hGTK (🪙🌱), as well as diamond shaped badges on most major ordinals marketplaces and explorers (see image below 👇). These 7 Patoshi Punk Mega Grails also have the distinction of being "Alpha", meaning they are inscribed on the first Satoshi in their respective Bitcoins.

The floor price for an Uncommon Sat alone is close to $35 at current (bear market) prices. With PP grails inscribed on them? Iconic collectors items.

These are undoubtedly the Seven High Grails of Patoshi Punks.

Patoshi Punks were built from the ground up by studying the Bitcoin Mempool. Eyewear traits are a perfect case study.

As you can see in the example below, the trait "~3 sat/vB Shades" was designed by observing the threshold in the Mempool where Bitcoin transactions become fully mined and confirmed blocks.

If you collected baseball cards or garbage pail kids as a kid, you understand the joy of collecting

Collecting “art” was more of a grown up thing

With NFTs the line between these two things gets blurred

Just an observation

[Patoshi Punks @patoshipunks]

Patoshi Punks reverse-engineered Bitcoin block design is not limited to eye traits. The overall footprint for Patoshi Punks was also built from Bitcoin blocks. For example, the "Block" facial hair trait seen below was derived from Bitcoin block #59140, a 3-transaction Bitcoin block.

Quintessential Bitcoin-Native design.

[Patoshi Punks @patoshipunks]

Patoshi Punks were designed by looking directly into the Bitcoin mempool itself. Patoshi Punk eyes, for example, were reverse engineered by taking Bitcoin Block #41287 and placing it in a socket. In the Bitmap community (who originally identified these "Punk" shaped blocks), these 2-transaction blocks are known as Bitmap "Pristine Punks".

Just one of several reasons why Patoshi Punks are one of the most Bitcoin-Native PFPs in the Bitcoin ecosystem and considered collectors items.

@mrshiddy I gave it a try (just a few minutes, so it's pretty raw still). Will play further a bit later.
