Before you embark on trying to persuade someone of your POV, try to think first about what it would take to get them to forget what they already know / how to get them to challenge their pre-existing assumptions.
2 simple “duty to question” filters for #data : 1) do we have a right to collect this data, in a way that would be plausible defended if called into question? 2) are we collecting it in a way that is transparent (as best we can) to those whose data is being collected?
