Even if Charlie was the one insisting on having the event outside, his “friends” should have told him NO. If they knew they couldn’t make sure he was safe, their job was to say NO.

And if they couldn’t change his mind, then they should have done everything in their power to secure that event. They should have asked questions, insisted, checked the entire perimeter, raised concerns, followed up, and then checked everything again.

You don’t get to wait until after he’s been sh*t and then say, “Well, securing the roofs wasn’t our job.”

Maybe it wasn’t technically your job to physically secure every roof. But it absolutely was your job to make sure somebody was doing it.

These weren’t random people standing in the crowd. They were his employees. They were reportedly being paid around $1 million for security. And, according to them, they were also his friends.

July 10,2025—At the request of the TPUSA field representative, UVU TPUSA Club President
contacted the Clubs Office requesting the specific use of the Fountain Courtyard for a September 10 TPUSA event.

August 25—Major Events Assessment Committee (MEAC) met with a TPUSA field
representative and UVU TPUSA Club President via Microsoft Teams. UVU participants raised concerns about the outdoor courtyard location, anticipated
attendance, protest activity, crowd management, and the abilty to control access.

TPUSA requested the event remain in the Fountain Courtyard despite concerns and suggestions to consider alternate venues.

TPUSA preferred the Fountain Courtyard and outside-managed ticketing; the committee ultimately
allowed the event to proceed in the requested location and allowed TPUSA to manage ticketing.

However, this is what Brian Harpole said on Shawn Ryan’s podcast:
