Been long in $IREN since early 2024.
I am 100% convinced this will become a mag 8 company within a decade. To understand why this the case and how this will play out, read Dan's post below.

There's been a lot happening at IREN recently.
Expansion across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
The NVIDIA partnership.
The Mirantis acquisition.
New GPU deployments.
New customer discussions.
A growing global footprint.
Underneath all of it is a fairly simple view of where the world is heading, and a deliberate strategy for how we position IREN within it.
That strategy is built on three layers. Together, they compound into a structural advantage that gets harder to replicate every quarter we execute.
Layer 1: Physical infrastructure. Power, land, substations, data centers, cooling. The foundation that everything else sits on.
Layer 2: Compute infrastructure. The GPUs, servers and networking that go inside those buildings. Deployed at scale. Generating revenue. Building execution track record.
Layer 3: Software and operational capability. The orchestration, deployment tooling and enterprise expertise that makes the first two layers work harder for customers, and opens the door to a broader, higher-value market over time.
Layers 1 and 2 are where the overwhelming majority of IREN's value is being created today. Layer 3 is where that advantage compounds further over time, but only because Layers 1 and 2 are built, owned and controlled at scale by IREN, not subscale nor contracted from a third party.
Think of Amazon. They didn't win e-commerce by building a great website. They won it by controlling the fulfilment infrastructure at a scale nobody else could replicate. The foundation you don't control becomes the ceiling on your business.
That is exactly how we think about IREN. The physical infrastructure - the land, the power, the substations, the data centers - is owned and controlled by us. The compute deployed into it generates the revenue and execution track record. And the software, orchestration and enterprise capability we are more methodically building on top is what turns the total product into a vertically integrated AI Cloud platform that compounds over time and deepens into a competitive moat.
AI is still early. The bottleneck is increasingly physical. And we have spent eight years building the foundations.
NFA, just a personal opinion. I have been very heavily invested in the stock for a long time. I don't like the RSU at all; it felt like a punch to the solar plexus. But I am totally convinced that this company will make it big, given time.
This is a high-beta stock; you need conviction to stomach the roller-coaster ride. "Know what you own" is not a clichรฉ.
I was at their finance HQ (at the time) in Denmark many many years ago. One of the finance guys came out from a meeting with Ingvar, clearly shaken. He had been told that the leasing contract for his Volvo 760 had been declined. The car was not in line with the IKEA spirit. Ingvar had been upset.
At this time, if you where in finance, you drove an expensive sports car, nothing else.
I was called in on short notice to fix an urgent IT-problem. They didn't let me bill them for a hotel stay, they had their own "hotel rooms" at the office. I got there in the afternoon, worked all night and fixed the problem. Went to bed at 5 am. At 7 am a cleaner forced me out of their "hotel room".
In the end they refused to pay for the overtime.
Yeah, that was the spirit
@bitcoinbutcher1 I take the opportunity to thank you for all the work you have put into this. It has been highly appriciated!
Would be interested in hearing more about the reasons.
As one of $IRENโs biggest supporters, I fully agree.
This is next-level greed by Dan and Will, and at this scale, an inexcusable decision by the board. Is the next step large stock comp packages for board members?
Is this frontrunning something big? I believe it is, but still, this is a disgusting level of greed, and I feel that the board, Dan, and Will are pissing on me.
I was scared when the stock was at $5, but I decided to go all-in. It was due to the fundamentals, confidence in managementโs ability to execute, and I really thought shareholder value was high on their agenda.
When it comes to shareholder value, Dan and Will have made sure to take care of theirs lately. Mine, not so much.
However, not going anywhere at this stage, still believe this will 10x the next few years and have the potential to become a mag 8 company in a decade.
Anymore news of this kind and I will reconsider
@FransBakker9812 Thank you Frans, I rather take the pain now ๐
I hope they will present ABF financing based on Horizon 1 and an increased ARR guidance for EOY 2027.
$IREN โ This Week's Roadmap
The bad boys Pistons, are right between $65 and $70, and if $IREN bulls want to go for that championship in the form of triple digits, we gotta beat them.
Not a lot more to add to this chart โ we are right there.
> now it's about execution and hitting those 3's.
Been long $IREN since early 2024.
My perspective, unpopular to some:
Over the years management has shown that they are years ahead of the competition strategy wise. They have also shown that they care about shareholder value. I am convinced that at some stage, not to far into the future, these marketing investments will make sense.
I don't think for a minute that the electrons that $IREN has secured tastes funny or that $IREN management haven't figured out where to buy pens to sign contracts.
Ove the years I have read hundreds posts about $IREN being a fraud, diluted to zero, management being incompetent, not able to sign a deal etc.
You need to zoom out and look at market cap development:
- 24 months ago: $1.13b
- 18 months ago: $1.93b
- 12 months ago: $3.25b
- 6 months ago: $11.26b
Currently: $21b
You sound more like a trader than an investor, this is a long term hold or sell IMO
@MarkTheLaird Hang in there
Electrons taste the same, this is not a about what customers prefer, this is about what IREN wants to do IMO
Something is cooking
