A new chapter begins for the Preakness Stakes.

The 152nd Preakness Stakes will be run at @PimlicoRC on Sunday, May 23, 2027, with the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes moving to Saturday, May 22, 2027, creating an expanded weekend of world-class racing and celebration in Baltimore.

The Maryland Jockey Club has also renewed its media rights agreement with @NBCSports, ensuring the Preakness Stakes will continue to be broadcast on @nbc and @peacock through 2032.

@NRussoRacing Probably sound, but scan showed starting to get a tendon or similar so veterinary advice was to stop on him and they decided to retire him instead of give him 6 months or whatever
