@Dee0871 Oh got me too. It was a missed opportunity for a much punchier reply. 1. because it’s probably cost effective &more eco conscious.
2. because exposed pipes in old prisons are used for a number of nefarious purposes. &on en suite showers- <violence & more much needed human dignity
@martha_newson @ILD_Greenwich@SoPsyGRE@oxford_anthro@CSSC_Oxford@HiltonFreund@Pablo_Bee@MoJGovUK Great video &messaging. Interested in the adjudication comparison& how the comparison group selected. Was there pre-selection to participate you factored in - assuming that selection for TP might have included people more likely to have a history of good behaviour ?

@LandWorksHQ Congrats @LandWorksHQ on this well deserved win. What’s exciting about this is that it also encourages others who don’t look for quick fixes & easy answers but honour the men and women we work with reflecting the realities of their journeys &their unique lives experiences👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
From @guardian, our CEO's response to news that 74% fewer people in prison took a rehabilitative course in 2023 than in 2010.
Charities like ours fill gaps left by government. We hope for a sensible debate on our justice system & an end to the crisis in our prisons.
@StandOutPP
@unlockcharity An inspired appointment @unlockcharity and congratulations to @paula_harriott - you’re brilliantly placed to bring energy & experience to this important work. @unlockcharity have led the way in valuing lived experience & focusing their work on the needs of people with convictions
@PaulStreets_@LBFEW@ThirdSector@EmilyPBurt@LHRouse@BayesCCE Thank you for all you’ve done for the sector - and the personal touch to all the charities @LBFEW supports. We’re proud to be funded by an organisation that goes above and beyond and trusts small charities to know what they are doing.
What happens when you encourage people in prison to connect with people in the community?
From building confidence to systems change, we spoke about what it means to volunteer in prison as we celebrated @PA_Consulting reaching 100 StandOut volunteers.
