I have been having this feeling lately that if INEOS didn't sack Ruben Amorim, things would have been a lot more better than it is and looking at his last days before he was sacked, I think it's fair to say that there were progress.

I was never in support of sacking Amorim but it is the club's decision, there's absolutely nothing you, I or every other Manchester United fans can do about it, we just have to go with the flow and support our new head coach.

Looking at the whole situation we are in now, it's like Manchester United are back to square one.

I don't want to be labeled as an Amorimsexual but Manchester United should have stuck with Ruben Amorim as their manger.

I can't explain it but he felt like the right manager to take us back to those glory days.

I’d genuinely rather finish 15th watching a manager build a clear identity and style that can eventually take us somewhere, than scrape 3rd while getting outplayed every week.

Results can hide problems for a while. Performances don’t. Under Carrick, United far too often look like the worse side regardless of who we’re playing.

These Ex- Players are part of the biggest problem this club has.

They are quick to throw every foreign player and manager under the bus and praise every English player and manager no matter how ridiculous they play.

Same thing they all did when Tuchel refused to play Mainoo.

They did it to Van Gaal, Mourinho, Ten Hag and Amorim and hounded them off this club.

They are the same ones asking for Rashford to come back into the squad.

Until the club issues a strong cease and desist to these clowns who call themselves ‘Legends’ we will continue in this trajectory.

I always try to stay positive, but there’s no point lying to myself about what I’m watching.

When Carrick first came in, a lot of the results were built on moments… worldies, set pieces, big individual actions and the odd favourable decision.

What worries me is what has come underneath that.

From a coaching perspective, I still don’t see enough that looks sustainable:
— no clear positional consistency
— no repeatable attacking patterns
— no obvious structure developing week to week
— no real signs of a long-term footballing identity

And this isn’t me saying it because I rated Amorim or because I want Carrick to fail.

It’s the opposite. I love United, which is exactly why I’m concerned.

I keep looking for something in this team that makes me think, “Yeah, this can become serious with time.”

Right now, I genuinely can’t find it.
