Brain Jotter is trending because he offered to give ₦2Million to the veteran Igbo Highlife star, Gentleman Mike Ejeagha, after going viral with his song.

The news was celebrated on Instagram, but when it got to twitter. Popular lawyer, Egi Nupe. Said Mike Ejeagha should sue Brain Jotter for using his song without his permission and offering to pay him peanut of ₦2million when he will make "millions" from the videos.

Technically, the lawyer is wrong because Brain Jotter used the song under the same laws that lets you use a song as a "sound" on your snaps or TikTok videos (fair usage).

According to the lawyers logic, Poco Lee will be paying billions by now for dancing to songs. And the usage of Paw Paw and Sabinus should charge everyone using their pictures as memes.

Mike Ejeagha made the song 41yrs ago. And has been receiving gifts since the sound went viral.

According to reports, he lives at his home, Mike Ejeagha street, Nike Road Abakpa, Enugu State.

ICYMI: The song is a story about how the tortoise wanted to marry the king's daughter. In order for that to happen, the king's daughter demanded a hefty gift (Elephant). The tortoise promised the king that he would bring them an elephant.

The tortoise already had an elephant friend.

So, he convinced the elephant to accompany him to the wedding, that the King want him to be the chairman of his Ofala festival.. That's where the title of the song came from. "Ka esi le onye isi oche" (how chairman was sold)..

Unknown to the elephant he was the bride price for a marriage.

As they were going to the palace, the elephant was walking behind the smart tortoise. Hence the "gwo gwo gwon gwor" which is an old slang in Igbo for elephant running, or something big/heavy running / walking.

It was at the ceremony the elephant found out he had been tricked by his friend, the Tortoise.

He became angry and chased the tortoise.

That's where Brain Jotter got the hilarious chase from.

Now 91 years old, Gentleman Mike Ejeagha released the song 41 years ago, in 1983.

He is 91, not 94. According to him. He will be 92 next month.
