I had this intuitively wrong for decades, I think due to a pervasive cultural veneration of intelligence, various entertainment/media, obsession with IQ etc. Agency is significantly more powerful and significantly more scarce. Are you hiring for agency? Are we educating for agency? Are you acting as if you had 10X agency?

Don't have much time during the week so weekends are for side projects. I'm quickly learning that with so many AI tools in my arsenal I can work on multiple apps at the same time.

I've got one being created in @lovable from scratch and another one that is now in a more advanced state that I'm now working on in @cursor_ai locally. It's like having a team of junior devs 🤯 I'm just giving them tasks and while one is executing I'm working with the other one. The most exciting part is you can do this for free or $20ish per month, so development is definitely changed a lot over the last couple of years.

Just need to make sure you don't give them too much at a time and they're getting the stuff done!

i'm seriously impressed with @cursor_ai using the gemini 2.5 pro model. it basically took a project where Claude 3.7 was struggling to make progress and fixed everything in one go. Later I asked it to completely rewrite a node.js backend in python and it did without any errors 🤯

Ok, time for a #vibejam update:

✅ Finally have FPV mode working. That took longer than I'm willing to admit and in the end I had to do it manually with targeted code questions because Claude 3.7 wasn't getting anywhere in Agent mode.

✅ You can also now drop bombs that explode after 3 secs.

The NPCs are getting a bit aggressive - if you stop to take a break they all jump on to you and kill you..

Added an FPS display and I found out that the fps rate significantly drops if you're on a Mac and your battery goes below 30-40%.. Will look into way of improving that and Multiplayer next.
