Same goes for any pursuit. Showing up is the most important part of performing
Focusing on the performance regardless of the score and knowing there is always room for improvement, in preparation as much as in competition. Winning is the byproduct. Be the best at getting better.

When someone pushes you past what you think you’re capable of achieving, it’s one of the greatest gifts you can ever receive. Be sure to thank that person, because they cared enough to invest in you. They saw something in you that you might not have seen in yourself.
