Now I’m seeing this post in the clear light of day, I want to recognize what an honor it is and how excited I am to be a part of this world class brand and team.
We’re going to have a lot of fun on poker’s biggest stage and hopefully make it even bigger.
For 15 years, Joe Stapleton has been one of the most recognizable voices in poker.
Now, he’s bringing that energy exclusively to WSOP.
Welcome to the biggest stage in poker @Stapes 👏 👏

@KatieStoneHTX@abarone68@jeffplatt@WSOP If your issue was the choice of clip, I think "I think his question was in poor taste" and "he only asked one question" were a poor choice of words.
@abarone68@KatieStoneHTX@jeffplatt@WSOP I would love to see more low stakes on stream and I believe I'll be covering the $500 Colossus two days next week. Katie tends to make things about herself, not your fault.
@KatieStoneHTX@abarone68@jeffplatt@WSOP If the quality and originality your ideas or ability to execute them matched your hubris and sense of entitlement your poker shows would blow the rest of us out of the water.
(Apologies if you find the word "blow" tasteless.)
My answer to this and most questions like it, which I promise is not intentionally obtuse: ideas are easy, execution is difficult. Poker TV has been around for a long, long time and generally most ideas have been thought of already. Maybe yours hasn't, but there is generally a reason things are done they way they are. That reason isn't usually that no one's thought of it, but they are difficult to execute or simply have been tried by don't work. Either due to lack of interest or poor execution.
20 years ago I made my first trip to Vegas. I saw the legends in the Poker Hall of Fame and dreamed joining them one day. I'm 40 now and finally eligible. It's up to the fans to decide who the 8 nominees are. If you think I belong, I'd appreciate your vote. https://t.co/8kgXAl66ZY

@chrisgosney4 I got paid by full tilt too during that time. Are you sure Andy’s check was huge? If I worked for Enron am I responsible for making its customers whole? I understand your vitriol but of the people to blame and who got rich, Andy isn’t one of them.
