Poilievre really wants this scandal to go away. So I’m reposting it. Poilievre was caught being complicit in the high food prices in Canada with Loblaws. This is what he does to Canadians behind their backs when he points at Trudeau and thinks you’re not paying attention to him.
Albertans probably need to start speaking a language that Danielle Smith supporters can understand. After all I've been told this is an acceptable means of protest in Canada.
Rachel is absolutely right: Danielle Smith should not be normalizing Tucker Carlson’s dangerous views by sharing a stage with him. He’s free to spew is authoritarian, Putin-aligned bile. But what does it say about a Premier gives him a platform for magnify these views? #UCPisMAGA
Three days ago, I wrote a post about thinking that while JT had done a great job, maybe leadership was getting long in the tooth and it was time to pass the mantle.
Over the past two or three days since that post, I tried to read people's posts who may be more ideologically aligned with me instead.
When I first joined to ensure I wasn’t living in an echo chamber, I only followed people that I politically couldn't stand. So I ferreted out the worst of them and signed up. I knew I was signing up for an enormous wave of shit posting.
It’s good to follow some of those who you can respect. They are centred, grounded, well-spoken, etc. Otherwise, the lunatics in the asylum will get to you — and it did.
The entire point of this post is simply after going to more normal places on X, I started hearing about @JustinTrudeau accomplishments I hadn’t known about.
Rather than shit talk, you hear words like, “I really admire him and how they carried themselves through the pandemic” — even then, the crazies were already starting to howl.
What has Trudeau dealt with so far? Lots.
With the world in the shape it's in. The dangerous, populous politics of @PierrePoilievre
I’ve changed my mind. @JustinTrudeau is in the right place at the right time for Canada.
There is much change and division in Canada, and I think he could heal that. Still, Canada has to come together in an unprecedented manner and lay such a stunning defeat to @PierrePoilievre that the @CPC_HQ of Canada realizes that Canada didn’t rebuke conservatism. It condemned @PierrePoilievre and his populism.
They would hopefully and wisely show him the door, closing an ugly chapter in Canadian Politics.
Some of the things this Trudeau government has got us all through. When you realize that each point here is a gross oversimplification of the issue, you can only come to one conclusion.
If, after all of this, we are doing as good as or better than the best of the G8. You would have to be a damn fool not to admire how well this administration has done.@JustinTrudeau@liberal_party

@ABDanielleSmith You can’t be serious. The proposal you floated yesterday is farcical and based on a ridiculous made up number. CPP is same for all Canadians, it’s well funded, audited, independent, secure, and portable. It’s borne of our labour. It’s ours.
