I keep coming back to this. Following Jesus was never presented as comfortable .. it was presented as a daily choice to put self aside.
Some days that means saying no to something I want. Other days it means showing up when I'd rather not. Either way, the invitation is the same: deny yourself, pick up the cross, follow.
I'm still learning what that looks like in practice.

The UN's first Global Dialogue on AI Governance wrapped up in Geneva this week, alongside a new independent scientific panel of 40 global experts publishing its first report on AI risk.
Meanwhile in the US, the White House is finalizing voluntary standards for frontier AI releases expected any day now.
The pattern I keep seeing in the research: no single country can govern this alone, but every country wants a say in how it's governed.
