All the braindead tourist takes about the end of Destiny 2 are gonna put me in an early grave. Yeah, it didn't end because of poor management, questionable franchise decisions, lack of significant updates etc. It ended because they made a trans pin & a rainbow shader, bro staple ur whole mouth shut fr
@varricsbianca BIG mood on game of thrones. iβve been angry about dragon age since inquisition, and i STILL get sweaty talking about it, so iβm absolutely positive i will eventually hit the uncontrollable rage part with destiny any day now
but for now iβm just sad and tired and sad
I've seen (& signed) the petition going around. But I think the much more powerful response if you're hoping for some kind of future for the franchise is:
Log on the week of June 9th.
Dont' get me wrong, Sony execs aren't gonna fall to their knees in tears and insta-green-light D3 or anything. But seeing SO many players out there logging on to give one last hurrah to the franchise that meant so much to them - it'll speak volumes in its own way.
At the very least, we'll have one more window of fun enjoying the last batch of new content in a game that meant so much to us. At best, it'll show how passionate the community still is, and just how badly so many of us want SOME kind of future for this franchise, no matter how long it might take to build.
I'll see you out there in June. It's gonna be one hell of a ride.
@3CH0plays donβt you worry, i already signed and needled my friends into signing.
iβm tentatively hopeful that we as a community can come together june 9th and show sony our love for this universe.
reviving my twitter account just to say: bungie, what the fuck, man?
i cannot even begin to describe how deeply the news about destiny affected me, and so unexpectedly. i haven't been able to play it as consistently as i used to, but on hard days or sad days, i still log in.
say what you want about destiny, but i have never played a game before or since that made me feel as excited and hopeful as it. i have never played a game where the community so quickly became a natural part of my life.
and i probably won't ever again.
do you guys remember the absolutely insane theories we all had about the warmind expansion? lore buffs having to go on apology tours just for joining in the speculation fun, the 10-page essays about why, actually, this expansion was going to change the entire game...
