I Started My Forex Journey in 2023

I started Forex trading in 2023 with almost nothing except a dream and the hope that one day, I could change my life through this skill.

At the beginning, I thought it would be easy. I watched traders making profits online and believed I could do the same. But the market quickly showed me that Forex was not about getting rich overnight.

I lost trades.
I lost accounts.
I made emotional decisions.
I broke my own rules.
And there were moments when I seriously questioned myself.

2023 was the beginning, but it was also the beginning of many lessons.

In 2024, I was still struggling. I was learning, practicing, making mistakes, and trying to understand what I was doing wrong. Sometimes I would have a good week and feel like I had finally figured everything out, only to give it all back again.

Then came 2025.

I realized that my biggest problem wasn't always the strategy. It was me.

My patience.
My emotions.
My risk management.
My discipline.

I started understanding that becoming profitable wasn't going to happen in a few months. It was going to take time.

So I stopped looking for shortcuts.

I started focusing more on learning than showing results. I learned to accept losses, wait for my setups, control my risk, and understand that not every day needs a trade.

Even today, I'm still learning.

I'm still making mistakes. I'm still having losing days. I'm still far from where I want to be.

But I'm also much stronger than the person who started in 2023.

And that's what I want to tell anyone who is starting Forex today:

Don't be discouraged by your first losses.

You might lose accounts. You might feel like you're not improving. You might watch other traders succeed while you're still struggling.

Don't let that make you quit.

Your journey will be different from everyone else's.

Start with what you have. Learn from every mistake. Protect your capital. Stay disciplined. Be patient.

One day, you will look back at the person who started with nothing and realize that every loss, every struggle, and every difficult night was part of building the trader you became.

I'm still building. I'm still learning. I'm still pushing.

And honestly, I'm just getting started.
