I think it's almost like a cross between Discord's chronological messages + the X/bluesky UI + letter-sending instead of DMs.

It's a simple formula, but my friends and I have finding it quite nice.

I quietly built Savannah months ago.

@RhysSullivan I think people want to be able to dismiss them more easily because they're used incorrectly. If your modal is being insta-dismissed by the user it shouldn't be modal at all.

@RhysSullivan I hate when an important modal comes up while I'm on the middle of clicking and I accidentally dismiss it. Most things should not be modals, if something is important enough for you to block my entire screen with, it should not be so accidentally dismissable.
