Perhaps this year isn't about becoming anything at all. Maybe instead, it's about slowly unbecoming all the things which no longer align with you, and finding peace in the quiet return to your authentic self.
If I'm being honest, half the things I went through are in fact because of me, my lack of discipline, not listening to my gut feelings, and my poor decision-making.
Never teach a man how to be your man. Don't ask him for anything. Not a date. Not flowers. Not clingy texts. Not morning calls. Not time. Not affection. When a man truly wants you, he moves different on his own. Life is too short to be waiting for someone to act right!
Whatever you do, pray for the ability to see your own sins, your own hypocrisy, and your own shortcomings. Never lose sight of that. Never get so carried away, pointing fingers that you forget you, too, have abscesses that need tending.
Detachment isn't absence, it's restraint. You still care, still notice, still remember the dates and the details. But you silence the urge to reach out, hold back the words, let the distance stay. It’s not that you've stopped feeling, it's just that you've stopped acting on it.
June 1st starting on a Sunday feels right. Be intentional about entering into the second half of the year with God. Be excited to set new goals and achieve them, eat better, exercise more, and live life to the fullest. May God help and be with us all.
I honestly feel that some parents does be delusional with their SEA hopes.
I don't care what anyone says, SEA preparation starts from the time the child starts to go to school. You have to create excellence from young.
