Werenski is clearly the better player but the full picture has this closer to a 1 for 1 to me (NMC, trade request, 4yrs older, Harley locked up)

Given CBJ wants to replace his skillset, the question becomes whats the better option than Harley?

I believe in addition to the 1mil savings the Stars would also need to drop Llyubushkin and either Faksa or Steel.

It's very much achievable, and of all the possibilities, it arguably leaves us with the best possible team for next year
