@patrickc I genuinely believe this is in part due to the rising costs of absolutely everything. There simply isn’t the headroom for ornate designs that take longer to design and manufacture.
It’s quite sad that everything is profit optimised to death. I don’t see how we break out of it.

@kunchenguid I completely agree, Anthropic et al keep going on about loops blah blah. I've tried multiple times in many different ways to get a retrieval system I built to recursively improve across a question set and while it has improved it, its not managed it without me inputting heavily.
