Universal Studios Japan has shared a new teaser image for its upcoming collaboration with Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem.

PS1 was the first console I ever had for myself, and I have loved and played on every playstation console and handheld.

Through my years, I have over 700 games across all ps platforms and over 300 platinum trophies. I buy and play games, because Playstation is my favorite place to play ä.

Please Sony, all I ask for you is to care. To care about the fans like me who love physical media. It's the feeling of having physical discs that I can't describe. Putting into the PlayStation and playing it, no better feeling

As a long time fan, all I ask is that you care. The goodwill I once had is getting smaller by the day and the company that was innovative, fun and made the games I love is not the same anymore.

If you have any heart left, please show that you care. That's all fans like me ask you to do.

📱Capcom looks for the right approach to mobile gaming and IP expansion.

While Capcom's console and PC business continues to show strong results, the company acknowledged that the mobile market remains a more challenging area.

😎Speaking during the 47th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, Capcom explained that mobile games are still viewed as an important opportunity to introduce its franchises to more players around the world.

Rather than simply bringing existing titles to smartphones, Capcom plans to focus on ideas that naturally fit the mobile platform, while also expanding its IP through partnerships with external studios.

😇Projects like Resident Evil Survival Unit could represent this direction, allowing Capcom's franchises to reach new audiences beyond traditional console and PC gaming.

Sony is officially shutting down the PlayStation Store on PS3 and PS Vita, while physical media is being phased out too.

New purchases will stop in stages starting August 2026 in some countries, with full global closure in July 2027.

Disc production ends for new PlayStation games in 2028

Previously bought games will still be downloadable “for the foreseeable future,” but that’s the key phrase, it’s not a guarantee!

We paid full price for those games years ago thinking we owned them.

In reality, we only bought a revocable license.

Sony can (and often does) change the terms whenever maintaining old infrastructure stops being profitable.

The end goal is clear: everything becomes a subscription or a temporary license controlled by the corporation.

This is exactly what “You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy” looks like in practice.
