Today is a dark day for Odia people.
Exactly 1 Year ago, on Aug 25, 2025, Union Aviation Minister said Bhubaneswar T3 is approved
We are in paper stage, with file crawling from AAI to Finance Ministry after 363 days since announcement.
New Vizag Airport was completed in 2 Years
How can we accept this as a state? One of the most important economic corridors for the state, CTC-Sambalpur 4 laning is dragging on for 9+ years.
The same NHAI is on track to complete Raipur-Vizaga brand new road and 2x length in 4 Years. And all we can do is write letters?

If you think Naveen Pattnaik is serious about this you are mistaken. BJD still has a lot of street power, this is such a colossal loss for state that every opposition should be on streets.
Why is BJD just writing letters? Why there is no mass band call over this?
Appealing Hon’ble BJP MPs of #Odisha to challenge and call for a reversal of the amendment made in the #MMDR Act that takes away the powers of the Odisha Govt. Our Parliament is the highest temple of Indian democracy. As a member of Parliament, you are the voice of Odisha in this highest forum of democracy.
The people of Odisha elected you in good faith to protect and further their interests. It is therefore a matter of utmost concern that you voted in favour of one of the most arbitrary legislations that will have far reaching adverse implications for the people of Odisha who put their trust in you.
August 13th which saw the passage of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026 in the Lok Sabha with your support was a black day for Odisha. The Bill was passed with less than ten minutes of discussion in the Lok Sabha, despite having provisions with far reaching implications for the people of Odisha.
This was not an ordinary piece of legislation. Odisha undoubtedly will be the worst affected by this legislation. As you are well aware, Odisha accounts for nearly 44% of India's mineral wealth. For decades, Odisha has contributed its mineral wealth to the building of India's steel, power, mining and infrastructure sectors. India stands taller and stronger today because of the immense contribution made by Odisha and her people.
The estimated annual loss would be more than ₹12,000 crores leading to lakhs of crores of rupees over time. But the bigger loss is that in a single legislative stroke the control over our own minerals and our mineral bearing lands was taken away from us. And this happened under your watch.
This law is an injustice to the children and youth of Odisha, whose future is linked to the resources and opportunities of this State. It is an injustice to the people of Odisha who bear the pollution, displacement, environmental degradation and the hazards and hardships of mining.
And, above all, it is an injustice to the dream of an empowered Odisha, that has the confidence and resources to determine its own future. I earnestly appeal to you to listen to your conscience and think about the future generations of Odisha.
History remembers and honours those who raise their voices when injustice is done to their people and resources. History will judge you not by the party you stood with, but by whether you stood up for Odisha when it mattered most. You are standing at a historic juncture with a choice to stand and fight for the state and the people who sent you to the Lok Sabha with a mandate to protect their interests. I leave it to your judgment.

Odisha Govt cancelled Bbsr metro project worth ₹6256 cr and sanctioned Subhadra Yojana (Laadli Behna) ₹55,825 cr for 5 years
Then Odisha govt waived off it’s claim of ₹1,00,000 cr mining due with ₹20,000 cr per annum through passing of MMDR bill

@manasmisraA@BJP4Odisha@dpradhanbjp@MohanMOdisha Go to my Timeline and check, when BJD was in power I was vehemently opposing the snail pace of development.
That's why I voted for change but the change is not visible on ground. It feels like we've been going backwards in 2 years. Starting with the choice of CM on day 1.
Reminding all spineless BJP Leaders of Odisha again. Odisha is the only remaining large state where there is no bullet train planned or proposed.
We have BJP 25 MPs in Parliament.
@BJP4Odisha@dpradhanbjp@MohanMOdisha
The Govt might make promises and forget - but we will not. Here is our Live Tracker for Bhubaneswar Airport Terminal 3
📥Download image, video and share it with the incompetent MLA, MP, CM & PM.
Odisha will not suffer in silence anymore. Deliver or leave!

@ElectionDynamix With massive UDAAN subsidies an airport in southern Odisha especially catering to Brahmapur is must. These virtue signalling will not make any real change as rightly said.

While our Odisha leaders are sleeping, Aviation Ministry run by TDP's Ram Naidu and supported by BJP Central leadership is robbing a great opportunity from Southern Odisha by denying Brahmapur an airport under UDAAN while Pasala a town 10 times smaller will get an Airport.
Mountains, Beaches, Lush Jungle Safaris, Heritage and soil rich with minerals-North Odisha has everything that a region needs for development but why do we rarely hear about it?
An airstrip and a 10 seater small aircraft is not the answer, a full fledged Airport is long overdue!

Palasa, a small town in Andhra Pradesh with a population of 57,500, is getting a brand-new greenfield airport — 1,383 acres, final clearance expected August 25.
Berhampur, Odisha's 4th largest city with a population of over 5 lakh, isn't. Odisha ignored again.
Just imagine this NDA-TDP minister who expedited every approval for Vigaz Airport in weeks, was siting on Bhubaneswar Terminal 3 Project for more than a year. And despite having 25 BJP MPs they did nothing.
Shame on @narendramodi@BJP4Odisha@MohanMOdisha@dpradhanbjp
Met Hon'ble Minister, Civil Aviation Sri Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu today.
Requested him for the approval of Terminal 3 Construction at Bhubaneswar Airport.
Also,I spoke about the need for some important Flights-to & from Bhubaneswar.
Very positive discussion ! Will follow up.
