@DocPriyamMD Yikes! I have been on PPI’s for years. My doctor has never said a word about this issue! I have never had any symptoms (although my fingers are starting to tingle right now - psychological I hope!). I guess I need to talk to him about Vitamin B 12.

@DouthatNYT I think this is a misinterpretation. I think if the question were phrased as ‘is it important to you that your children get married (or have kids) if that’s what they want?’ Then nearly all would say it’s extremely important.

@davidfrum Of course there are lots of things that are better today and some things that are worse. On balance though, I think today is better. If there was a time machine that could take you back to live in 1960, I doubt many people would do it.

@jmarkgilbert @NickKristof We have had abortion bans (with exceptions for life/health of the mother) for decades in the 3rd trimester in almost all states, so no reason that laws should create these kinds of problems.
