The New York Knicks have outscored their opponents by 272 points in the past 12 games
That's the best 12-game stretch from any team in NBA history, regular season or playoffs

That 2001 Lakers team was unique. Five Western Conference teams had better regular seasons, and the Spurs were clearly the best in the NBA. Then the Lakers flipped a switch...
The most dominant NBA playoff team of all-time was the 2001 Los Angeles Lakers, with a +13.7 postseason net rating
If the Knicks win the title, they will probably break this record
@Adam_Mares Unstructured sports are so good for development and just having fun. Youth sports are a mess. I watched a coach leave my daughter and four other 5th and 6th graders sitting on the bench for all but 1.8 seconds of one game. Apparently, winning was all that mattered.
@NBAPR@NBA@sixers@NBAHistory Here's an even more impressive achievement: The 76ers overcame the second-largest point differential per game gap against a playoff opponent in NBA history (7.9), trailing only the 1994-95 Lakers vs. the Supersonics (8.4).

@NateDuncanNBA And there's more: The 76ers (7.9) overcame the largest PPG gap against a playoff opponent in NBA history, second only to the 1994-95 Lakers vs. the Supersonics (8.4).
@YahooSports That's just part of it: The 76ers (7.9) overcame the largest PPG gap against a playoff opponent in NBA history, second only to the 1994-95 Lakers vs. the Supersonics (8.4).
@AndrewDBailey Yes, they did: The 76ers (7.9) overcame the largest PPG gap against a playoff opponent in NBA history. Second only to the 1994-95 Lakers vs. the Supersonics (8.4).
Sixers become just the 15th team to win a playoff series after getting outscored in the regular season since the NBA went to a 16-team postseason in 1984.
