Germany’s failure to secure a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council — for the first time in decades — is a stark rebuke from the international community. It reflects growing global outrage over the German ruling establishment’s irresponsible, hypocritical, and complicit stance toward the genocide in Gaza and US-Israel’s military aggression against Iran.

Germany, one of the largest suppliers of lethal weapons to Israel, has consistently justified the genocide of Palestinians. We don’t have any confirmation yet of exactly what happened and who did what, but given the immediate blaming of Russia by Ursula von der Leyen, I caution patience: she seems far too eager to leap into pushing for more war prep.

I can’t say it’s inconceivable Russia might attack a port in Europe, especially if it was one used to support Ukrainian attacks into Russia. But I am skeptical.

Bc if Russia wanted to send a major signal to Europe, they would b more likely to launch a major missile attack and take credit for it, warning of more to come if deterrence was not reestablish.

What we don’t need to do is leap to conclusions and take further action directly against Russia — without a full and thorough investigation to fully determine what happen — which itself could plunge us into war w a nuclear armed Russia.
