@BenMyers@yesh222 In saying this (and I agree with u) it is also wrong for any of us to push any election conspiracies without any evidence and as stupid as the process is, there doesn’t seem to be any reason to cast doubt on the results
@yesh222 And I’m saying it’s ridiculous. And whether it’s on the up and up or not (and i think it is), it still hurts people’s faith in the process when literally nobody else does it this way and u have entire countries around the world able to get the job done in hours.
@yesh222 So yes insinuating it’s rigged is stupid. But can we all agree that it’s ridiculous that it takes California this long to count their votes and that it took over a month in 2024.
@yesh222@Cincinnati_Son@TahraHoops I think there is an argument to say that all ballots must be received on/by Election Day. It’ll be an interesting decision at the Supreme Court
@Anakin2254@Tyler_Roessel@PitchingNinja Well again as i said if mlb didn’t ask that’s wrong. Would he have skipped a start for his team just to pitch in the ASG. We don’t know. Easy to say so afterwards of course.
@Anakin2254@Tyler_Roessel@PitchingNinja Because they do not pick replacements who won’t commit to playing in the game and if he pitched on Sunday, he can’t commit to playing in the game
@F6STR@Anakin2254@Tyler_Roessel@PitchingNinja If he was selected as an original all star yes. As a replacement u only get the all star nod and bonus if u commit to playing in the game
@Anakin2254@Tyler_Roessel@PitchingNinja Except to accept a replacement sport in the all star game means you have to commit to pitching in the game as Mis did and a lot of guys apparently preferred the rest. So it’s not crazy to think Sanchez did turn it down in favor of getting rest for the second half of the season
@Anakin2254@Tyler_Roessel@PitchingNinja I believe Sanchez turned down the opportunity. Multiple pitchers also turned down the opportunity to pitch in the game b4 they went to Mis
@ammalusty The only thing I’d take issue with is “French whores.” Franklin was more flirtatious than a skirt chaser and preferred the company of the upper class intellectual French women
@1Chillwind@genericmainer@JJ_McCullough But let’s be real. Platner is getting the nomination. The question will be whether they are forced to remove him if future bombs are dropped
@Kirsten_Tanis1 I mean yes it COULD end up an overpay. But that’s really the case anytime someone signs a big extension. He went to Madison and did studies on his body to figure out why he kept getting the nagging injuries and since then he’s pretty much avoided them
