@LeoToAquarius@oldandrewuk @Trudgeteacher Sorry you clearly didn’t properly understand the thread. I never said don’t enforce the rules. I would like to see the enforcement handled in a different way. Which it was today and both sides had a better outcome.
@robotmaths @MrStaveley @MrBenParnell@DrRLofthouse My lack of response is nothing to do with my invention of trauma it’s because I have enough shit in my life without adding total strangers voicing opinion on stuff they know fuck about. I only showed empathy for one persons situation and suddenly I get this crap.
@oldandrewuk@JamesHandscombe @Trudgeteacher That’s a discussion to be continued with school not with Twitter. As you so rightly pointed out, because of you quoting my original tweet it has become something else. Mostly thanks to your misunderstanding of my families circumstances.
@oldandrewuk@JamesHandscombe @Trudgeteacher You are clearly misunderstanding my tweets. Rules yes but a better way of enforcing them. It’s the ago old isolation argument that edutwitter has had for years. We need to agree to disagree now and get on with our half term.
@oldandrewuk @Trudgeteacher As a middle class parent who know nothing about education. I’m not asking for extra resources or funding. I just want someone to listen.
@oldandrewuk @Trudgeteacher 1/2 Yes they are but the current system is fuelling rather than improving. Obviously everyone wants the best outcome. I want to work with the school to find a better way. Ultimately she needs to manage her self to be employed. I want to be heard not dismissed as
@oldandrewuk @Trudgeteacher I wasn’t trying to attack teachers just the system. I work alongside some amazing teachers. My daughter is taught my some fantastic teachers. It’s the system not the personal.
@Trudgeteacher @oldandrewuk Come and live my life for 1 week you certainly believe in the effects of trauma. I’m so saddened that teachers display this level of inhumanity.
@oldandrewuk @Trudgeteacher And their in lines my issue, people who just don’t get it or even try to get it. I would like her behaviour managed differently. Shame will not work. Trauma is a justification if anyone has experienced what she has in her life the fact she is in school learning is a miracle.
@oldandrewuk You have a limited understanding of the situation which is understandable. I don’t want my child to not understand the consequences of her actions. All I can say is be kind you have no idea what we have faced this past month with her mental health.
@MoanyMr@miss_rowley I was in school during lockdown everyday. You have clearly been miss informed. I have every sympathy for your situation, it’s a shame you aren’t prepared to find out the reality for many teachers . Instead of perpetuating the myth of the lazy teacher.
