Sad to hear of Liam Coward’s passing. Though I only met him in the spring, the positivity I felt talking to him will last forever. I took this photo prior to speaking with him bc I felt it summed up a kind, welcoming environment - all things I learned he fought tirelessly for.

1/Today I spoke about 4 year old Hazel and her family, and how they’re navigating the absence of in-school support for her #type1diabetes. Make no mistake, they’re not alone. The health care worker shortage is affecting the education sector now as well.

What Doug Ford has done is inhumane.

To force people from an understaffed hospital system into a understaffed long-term care home that they don’t want to be at is cruel and won't address the crisis in our hospitals.
