While on vacation I always check for working smoke alarms. Our cottage rental over #CanadaDayWeekend had no working smoke or CO alarms. After contacting the owner, they supplied me with 2 new combination alarms that I was glad to install in the correct locations. #firefighersafe

Today we assessed the firefighting skills of close to 70 potential firefighter applicants, as well as conducted 2nd round interviews. Tomorrow we will continue our evaluation of an additional 75 applicants.
