@A_May_MD As a generalist learning the ropes in biotech, your pitches have been god sent.
Keep sharing once you're back.
Plenty of guys with skin in BioX, very few with soul in the game like you.
God bless.
@Random_Gyan Cons:
- Negative growth + Distributor count reduced QoQ. Both related or isolated? Tail pruning or something fishy?
- 90% revenue from one state
@Random_Gyan Ganesh Consumer Limited
Pros:
- Promoter added
- Strong brand in consumer staples in WB. Evident in cash and carry nature of WC
- Spices, RTE, Snacks and Geographic expansion incremental growth vectors
- Cheap valuations given the industry and distribution strength
@A_May_MD If we assume this gets through approval, how would you model market access and payer's willingness to fund this treatment?
~$2-3M per treatment is a big payment for that size of population
To me, securing approval still looks like an easier bar to cross than modelling uptake
@faltoo@screener_in Under the Concalls section, links to some transcripts/recordings/ppts dont remain valid anymore and throws an error.
In such cases, accept new links from the users to keep the section up to date
Currently I'm getting this error when I add the new link
@gurjota Had same issue with some other bank sometime back
RBI guidelines explicitly says a written confirmation stating no change in KYC over email is enough but no bank seems to be following it
Sad part is even the Ombudsman didnt bother to penalize the bank and get the issue resolved
@SridharanAnand existing model for banks:
cash economy down > higher low cost deposits for banking system
existing model for tpaps:
upi payments as hook product > traffic gets monetized as ads, loans, bill payments, ticket bookings, etc.
free upi makes sense even if as a cost center
@peter_mantas Peter how do you think about commercial uptake and payer dynamics if this gets approved?
$2M seems like a very steep price tag for insurers for that size of patient population
@FalakKalyani Bigger constraint is getting an overdraft facility if you don't have a business
Can't fund this system through term loans since IPO market isn't hot throughout every year
Recent headlines on revolving credit facilities under regulatory scanner will make it even tougher ahead
@punitbansal14 Sirji, where did you find all the supplier sites for the drug substance?
From official EMA filings for ENHERTU, can only see Daiichi's sites listed as suppliers. Couldn't find any mention of Lonza or Carbogen.
I have been trying to find something like this for so long.
@arindam___paul There are many books and podcasts focusing on macro level stuff for building a business. Not many that talk about the nitty gritties of setting up after-sales, distribution, finding vendors, etc. in real physical world.
Too much to ask but hope one day you write a book on it.
@Ankush__Agrawal A psychological question -
How do you cope when you make the same mistake twice and it costs you really big?
Asking in context of lost opportunity due to really silly mistakes like optimizing for taxes in an oversold market like Marchπ₯²
@anulall Good to know but your comment does not really explain what you're claiming so confidently in your original tweet in that highlighted part
Good luck!
@Rahul_J_Mathur This is from an Italian company called V-Shapes which is now 100% WOS of a listed Indian company Control Print Limited. Was acquired from bankruptcy 1.5 years back.
Now in the process of scaling up in India and abroad while sorting out the back-end. Been tracking them closely.
@arindam___paul Can you suggest some good books or resources to learn how distribution is approached and setup brick by brick?
Preferably for Indian context
@plainyogurt21 Is there any comprehensive resource you can suggest to learn more about Payor-PBM-HCP dynamics impacting uptake post-approval of new drugs from the basics ?
